Terms of Delivery

We deliver anywhere in mainland UK and Northern Ireland (unless otherwise stated) using our own fleet or via our preferred partners.  Standard mainland UK delivery, plus delivery to the Isle of White and Anglesey, is FREE.

We are unable to deliver free of charge to any other islands, including but not exclusively, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, Orkney, Shetland, Western Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland.  Should you require delivery to any of these areas please contact us before placing your order, as quotes may vary.

We charge for delivering goods internationally and add a £25.00 handling fee for this service.  Please contact us to obtain more information.  We can also arrange goods for collection from our Suffolk warehouse, postcode IP28 6RE. We reserve the right to restrict these services at any time.  We reserve the right to alter or amend delivery times in exceptional circumstances without breaching the agreement.

An estimated delivery lead time is quoted on receipt of your order but in most cases we aim to deliver within ten working days.  Whichever and in all cases, delivery lead times will be discussed with you once you have ordered and supplied your delivery postcode and are subject to stock availability.  Delivery times are normally, Monday to Friday, between 7.00am and 7.00pm.  On rare occasions, delivery may be outside of the published times.

An express delivery service or an outside normal working hours option is available at extra cost.  These orders will usually be delivered within 2 working days (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) subject to stock availability and delivery location.  Please contact us for further information so that we can provide you with a quote.  Please call customer services on 01284 81200.

Receiving a delivery

We shall contact you to book a delivery date and a 3 hour time slot subject to availability.  On the day of delivery, the delivery team will phone 30 minutes ahead to confirm they are on their way and give you an estimated time of arrival.  A signature from someone over the age of 16 is required as proof of delivery.

Items usually can be placed where you request, provided our drivers do not feel that there are any health and safety issues accessing that area, nor that there is any danger of damage to your property or the item being delivered, nor that it will cause delays to their delivery schedule.

We ask you to:
- measure the designated garden, patio or balcony area, any doors and gateways, passageways, etc. prior to delivery, to make sure the products will fit and pass through.
- tell us when agreeing delivery, about any special requirements such as, for example, parking restrictions, awkward turns, impractical steps, narrow bridges, small or unmade access roads.

Failure to tell us about any of these may delay delivery and result in an extra charge to you.  Should an emergency occur that will affect the agreed delivery time, please contact us immediately, using the delivery team’s phone number, or Verdon Grey customer services on 01284 812000, or by email on customerservices@verdongrey.co.uk

Removal Service

We believe in responsible and sustainable manufacturing of new products and in the recycling of old products.  We offer a removal/recycling service subject to stock and delivery location for a £25.00 handling charge.

In the event that we are unable to remove the old item(s) for any reason beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of the removal charge.  Removal of your old furniture is only available at the same time as the new furniture is delivered and must be confirmed at the time of placing your order.  The item(s) to be collected must be capable of fitting in our delivery van(s) and packed so as not to cause damage or dirty the interior of our van or any goods therein. Any item(s) considered too unsafe/unfit/unclean to move or handle, will not be accepted.

If the item(s) cannot be removed at the same time, we are unable to return and collect at a later date.  A full refund of the removal charge will be paid back only to the credit/debit card used in payment.  Should you require further assistance with this service, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further at the time of placing your order.
