Spring Garden Preparation

January is almost over and spring will soon be upon us. Gradually the weather will get slightly milder and spring flowers and tree blossoms will slowly appear, so what better way to say goodbye to winter for another year than with a spring garden revamp!

Spring Flowers

Breathe some colour into your garden with some beautiful Spring Flowers. Pansies will flourish in the mild and damp spring weather, and will bring in a lovely range of bright colours to your garden. Daffodils are also a favourite for this time of year, and can be very fun to plant especially with young children. Bulb plants are among the easiest to care for, and will easily brighten up any garden.

Weeding

With gardening naturally comes weeding. An hour or so taken to remove all the weeds from your flowerbeds, lawn and any paved areas will make your garden look instantly better, and will allow any new plants to thrive.

Decking and Garden Sheds

The harsh winter weather may have left your decking or garden sheds looking slightly worse for wear. On a dry day, take the time to give these areas a thorough clean and maybe even a fresh lick of paint or oil to make them look like new.

Furniture

Treat yourself to some new, good quality garden furniture to really revamp your garden for the spring. Good quality furniture will last well in wet and windy weather but still look fantastic when the sun is shining. As the weather gets a little bit warmer, you can enjoy having a nice cup of tea while looking proudly at your brand new garden.

Once you’ve put the hard work in, your garden will be ready to enjoy for the milder months to come. If you are looking to get more out of your garden, please take the time to view Verdon Grey’s extensive range of quality 6 seater garden furniture and contact us on 01284 812000.
