Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Lost Gardens of Hellican

As the name itself suggests the garden of cosmic speculation, located near Dumfries, Scotland, is truly a unique affair that really has to be seen to be believed. Inspired by the mysteries of the universe the garden of cosmic speculation contains numerous gardens and intriguing sculptures that in many respects defy description.

 

Exubury Gardens

The county of Hampshire is home to another award-winning garden, namely the famous Exbury Gardens, located in the heart of the New Forest. Created in the 1920s by Lionel De Rothschild, Exbury Gardens is home to a wide variety of plant life including a fine collection of over ten thousand rhododendrons, and plays host to a variety of stunning seasonal displays.

 

Studley Royal water garden

Fans of water gardens and features may find inspiration at the Studley Royal water garden near Ripon in North Yorkshire, a fine example of a striking Georgian water garden. Studley Royal Water Garden was the brainchild of John Aislabie and his son William, and is also home to a number of traditional statues and garden buildings
