Here at Verdon Grey we provide beautifully designed, amazing quality contemporary garden furniture. The timber for our wooden furniture comes from responsibly managed FSC forests. Some of our ranges are made from 304 grade stainless steel or virgin aluminium and our cushion covers are made from yarn dyed acrylic. Our ranges of luxury furniture are designed to last and resist not just wear and tear but even varied weather conditions with only minimal maintenance. Because our ranges are made from a variety of materials we will offer tips based on each material category.

Teak

Our ranges made out of teak include Redon, Jabron, Catillon and Volonne. Ranges like Castillon and Jabron are made of a variety of materials so will need to be treated with some extra care. In order to wash your garden furniture at the beginning or end of the season simply use a bowl of hot, soapy water and scrub down with a soft bristled brush. Once all debris has been removed leave to dry for a day. Once dry, apply teak oil, which can be bought from places like Homebase to seal the wood and give the colour a refresh.

Stainless Steel

Our ranges that contain stainless steel parts include Castillon and Soleils. Our brushed stainless steel is the highest quality and stands up to deterioration. Our stainless steel is treated so that it is resistant to rust, however over time it can stain. To keep your stainless steel furniture in great condition we recommend cleaning at least twice a year with some specialist stainless steel cleaner. You can buy Steel Guard from Lakeland and after one coat it will really revitalise the metal, making it gleam.

Aluminium

Our aluminium furniture is made of new aluminium which is galvanised to provide rust protection. This is then cleaned and coated with powder to prevent oxidation. Aluminium furniture needs very little maintenance and looks smart in any season. Our ranges that are made using aluminium include Alexis, Estelle and Soleils. In order to clean aluminium simply use a non abrasive cloth and washing up liquid. After several years you may need to repaint the aluminium but this is only necessary if they are damaged by harsh conditions.

All Weather Wicker

Our woven wicker products are durable, lightweight and built to last. They also require very little maintenance. Simply brush off stubborn dirt and debris with a hard-bristled brush and then use a pressure washer to ensure they are sparkly clean.

Cushions

Our outdoor cushions are made from acrylic in a smart shade of taupe. They are highly durable, flame retardant and resistant to mould. In order to clean the cushions, detach them from the furniture frame and spot clean with a sponge, light detergent and warm water. In the rare occurrence of mildew appearing, spray thoroughly with a water and bleach solution. It is recommended that cushions are stored in winter to protect from harsh weather conditions.
